What are the consequences in case I do not submit a Production's Declaration? |
The submission of the Production Declaration is obligatory in accordance to the Law. A person owning a vineyard but does not meet the obligation within a given deadline, is not eligible to participate in wine support schemes. |
In case I would like to transfer the ownership, abandon, uproot or replant a part or the whole of my vineyard, should I declare it to the WPC? |
Yes, you should notify the competent authority of change of ownership or of change of land use. |
Do I have to obtain a certain license in order to produce Zivania or any other spirit drink or distillate wine? |
In any case, a certificate of conformity by the appropriate department of the Ministry of Health is essential. Additionally, specific requirements apply in each of the following cases: |
Spirit Drink "Zivania": 1. Distiller's License "A" from the Customs Service and 2. Permission for the use of the geographical indication "Zivania" from the WPC. |
Spirit drinks: Compounder License from the Customs Service. |
Commandaria: Licence for the use of appellation "Commandaria" obtain from the WPC. |
